The club president, Rene, threw together an amazing and epic night of gladiator combat!

Using the LUDUS GLADIATORIUS rules, and with a wide array of handsomely painted miniatures, the club ground out game after game of brutal combat. Throats were slit, limbs were lost, net entanglements were infrequent…. The emperor provided both thumbs up and thumbs down throughout the night.

Players had the opportunity to try out different gladiators in 1v1, 2v2, and every-man-for-himself trials. In the end, Dan’s gladiator reigned surpreme and was declared the overall winner. He returned to his ludus with the laurels of victory and the knowledge his Dominus would no doubt treat him well after the winnings that he earned.

All the members in attendance are looking forward to repeat performances, and the introduction of lions, bears, and rhinocerii, oh my!!!
